Who are Res Populi Patrons?

Res Populi Patrons are a community of like-minded supporters who help safeguard the Res Populi Club's freedom of action and long-term sustainability.

They understand the urgent challenges facing the world - and the vital role the Res Populi Club aims to play in helping to solve them.

They know it costs money to implement Club actions.

They value the fact that the Res Populi Club receives money only from the citizens, so we have total independence.

They fund us because they know how important our integrity and courage are in upholding our proposals and fighting for a fairer world.

How is this different from Membership?

We are evolving our Patron program to offer closer engagement for philanthropically-minded individuals who share in our mission and purpose. In appreciation of their support, Res Populi Patrons receive access to a dedicated Patron’s attention service, regular communications and event invitations to meet with Club Members and other like-minded Patrons.

How do I sign up?

If you have signed up on a one-off basis, you can renew your annual Patronage by calling or emailing the Patrons' attention service.

If you have signed up on a recurring basis, your Patronage will renew automatically unless you call us to cancel. Don't worry, we'll send you a renewal reminder.

How do I change my personal information?

If you’d like to change your personal details such as payment card details or your home address, you can let us know by calling the Patron’s attention service or by emailing us at

Can I gift Patronage to a friend?

Unfortunately, due to current data privacy laws, it is not possible to purchase a gift Patronage on behalf of someone else. We require all new Patrons to join using their own details, including payment information.

What happens if I don't want to receive any emails from you?

From time to time, we’ll send you emails that are related to being a Res Populi Patron including a monthly newsletter, and ad-hoc updates and invitations. If you wish to opt out of receiving this, you can leave the contact box unchecked when signing up online, or email us at and we will update your preferences within 48 hours.

What should I do if I lose my Patron card?

When you join, you'll receive a Patron card in the post. You can use this as an easy means of identification when attending Res Populi Club events. If you lose your Patron card, please let us know by emailing so we can replace this for you.
